Thank Heaven for Ladies Who Make Wedding Dresses

I finally found the dress of my dress that doesn't cost 3-5 thousand dollars. I have been searching for a long time to find a mermaid or trumpet style dress that has no beading, embroidery, sequences, lace, or the whipped cream look on the bottom. The problem is I'm pretty picky. I know what I like and I really know what I do not like. That pisses people off who work in dress shops. They are used to working with young girls who don't know what they are talking about. Oh yes who also love embellishments. I am not one of those girls. I had a specific dress type in my mind. I didn't really want to try on any other type, but I would just to appease the annoyed shop workers. Then after I tried on the dress I knew I wouldn't want they would get mad at me for not liking them, and pointing out what I did and did not like. But last night my dreams came true. I called a lovely lady and asked if she could make my dress. I was done shopping around feeling chubby because I had to try on dresses that would fit my boobs, but not the rest of my body. So, my mom and I went over to her house and we pounded out exactly what I wanted. I'm really hoping it turns out exactly how I wanted it to. Cause if not oh well.

Shall we discuss how fun planning a wedding isn't? OK! Good Idea! It's not fun. It's stressful. I wouldn't do it if I didn't love this Tron so much. To quote girls just want to have fun... "decisions are the worst." I would hate to see what I'd be like if things weren't working out as perfectly as they are. Seriously, we've been engaged for a week today... We have the date set in the temple, I have the place where we're having at least one of our receptions (it's free. Thank you Kathy), the person who's doing our flowers, We know what flowers we want and because of that we pretty much have the colors picked out, Our invitations basically picked out and someone who is designing them with us, we're deciding between two photographers, Our Honeymoon just has to be booked and it's amazing, I've turned in everything for my passport and should be getting it in about a month, I have basically decided on a dress, and I just have to order my veil. I mean I think that's a really good head start for how long we've been engaged, right? Maybe that's why I'm so stressed. We've done the main parts of the wedding in one week. Oh first week of our engagement how I have loved and hated thee.

So, Make that three weddings that I'm in. Only one of them Tron and I are the stars. Ha ha ha.

Yay for You!

So many people in my life are getting married. I think it's awesome. I'm so excited for them. I mean I'm a bridesmaid in two weddings, but this spring/summer I know 7 couples who have gotten or are going to get married. The newest couple got engaged today. I don't know what's in the water they're drinking, but there's got to be something. I mean come on that's more in one summer than there has been for my circle of people in a long time. Congratulations to you all! I can't even express how happy I am for you. For one couple I wanted to cry that, that person who means so much to me finally found the love they deserved to have. I would have if I weren't so excited. I'm so happy for you all...just so you know, I probably won't buy you all gifts. ha ha ha sorry I'm poor. kisses!
