The Love Hate Relationship I Have With Winter

I'm just going to lay this on the table, I don't really like winter. It's my least favorite season. I think I might like it better if snow were warm. Anyhow, I'm straying from my point. I don't like it, but I was just watching FRIENDS like I always do as I'm falling asleep, and the episode of Pheobe's wedding was on. I don't know if any of you know this episode, but there's a huge blizzard and She gets married in the snow on the street. It got me thinking of the things I do love about winter and snow. I love blizzards (as long as I don't have to go anywhere.) I love the sound of snow falling. I love feeling like there's no where to go, just cuddling up, and watching it fall. There's something comforting, cozy, romantic, and kinda magical. I realize that sounds totally cheesy, but it's true. Just thinking about it makes me wish there was a huge snow storm. And Tron didn't have to go to school, neither of us could go to work, so we could just chill at home, watch movies and drink hot chocolate. But I think my all time favorite thing about snow/winter is at night. I love the calm silence there is and the purple hue that the night's sky has. That purple hue makes Winter worth having for me. So there it is my ode to Winter. Even though I usually hate you, I enjoy your familiar feel.

I don't always: realize that things I like about people aren't always things they like.

I loose: at phase 10 A LOT

I don't understand: amazing people who don't realize they are worth everything they want
I can usually be found: at work, at home, or by Tron's side

I am happy: just doing nothing as long as I'm with Tron, My Family, or The Friends

Not a Happy Camper Today

Today is a sad day. My father got a a plane to North Carolina then onto Iraq after a few weeks of course. The whole situation is sketchy and I won't get into it. Not happy. Anyhow, last night my siblings who live in Utah still got together. We celebrated Bryn and Porter's birthday and were having a Goodbye get together for my Papa. It was lovely. Except that at the end of it we had to say goodbye to our dad. I definitely cried on the way home. I mean there's so much I'm worried about. My Dad being in a war zone and everything that goes with that. And about my mom with all of her kids married and grown up she's all alone. My parents are so great. They are strong people I'm sure they'll both make it through. Let me just let everyone know how great my dad is. He's the best dad I could have ever asked for. He's so kind and understanding. He always listens to what I have to say. If I had a problem he would listen and give the best advice. I always felt better and comforted. He has a way of making you feel like everything will be ok. I'm sure part of this was because he's an amazing psychologist, but part of it was also because he's a wonderful person. He's fun and a little crazy. Which we all love especially the grand kids. I'm going to miss him like crazy in the next 6 months to possibly 2 years. I Love You, Dad!

a freckled thing

I've just recently noticed that I am a woman of habits. Especially when it comes to computer business. I noticed today that every time I get on the computer to check my email and what not I do the same routine. I won't bore you with the details of what the routine is. But I always follow it. And to top it off I go to peoples blogs in the same order. It kinda creeps me out. I think I'm going to mix it up a little bit. Maybe I'll go to Blaine and Lindsay's first instead of 3rd. Don't worry I'll try not to go too crazy. Woo for my wild life.

Nothing Important

I realize that a lot of people love kettle corn, but it is something that I really hate. Yes, hate is a strong word, but I'm not going to lie to you when I say I mean it. It is very misleading. I mean you put this popcorn in your mouth expecting to have the sweet sensation of butter and salt. But instead you get this weird gross sweet flavor. It comes out of no where and I'm just saying it's not a welcomed surprise. Don't get me wrong I kinda like sweet things. I mostly like sweet things if it's fruit flavored. It's just when I expect something salty and savory I want no sweet flavors involved. Random thought I'm aware, but this happening I'm speaking of just happened. Not a Fan. Oh yeah, just so you know the taste does not get better or hidden by putting salt, butter, and/or seasoning salt on it.
