Gloria's white hair makes her look really tan

So, If you know me really well you know that I'm weirdly scared of the dentist. I'm not usually nervous for cleanings...but today I was. I hadn't gotten my teeth cleaned in a year. I usually go every 6 months. So when I got there they were still out to lunch. I sat down patiently outside the office waiting for them to come. I was sitting there less than 10 minutes. My heart started to race, my leg started to shake, and I had to sudden urge to run. They opened the doors right at 2. Gloria welcomed me in as always. Calling me by name, then saying there's our redhead. I've been coming to the same dentist since I was 10 you think I'd not be so nervous. They called me back and as I was sitting there I started to cry! That's right, I Michelle M. Ahern at the age of 24 3/4 started to cry at the dentist office FOR A CLEANING! It wasn't a full on cry, but the tears were welling. Sometimes I'm a little ridiculous.

The Station I Love Most

Here's the deal... I have an addiction. I'm addicted to the sweet sweet love of The Food Network. I don't have TV, and even when I did I didn't have anything but basic cable. Tron not only has TV, but Cable. And I have fallen in love with the Food Network joy. I love Everyday Italian it's so simple and looks so delicious. Plus who doesn't love some Giada? No one that's who. Rachel Ray 30 minute meals is great! She's kind of annoying, but at least she looks like she actually eats her food. But my all time favorite show has to be Ace of Cakes. It's fantastic! Maybe my love for it comes from wanting to be a cake decorator while watching reading rainbow. Or perhaps it came from the fact that they make some crazy cool cakes. It's a mystery. I don't get to cook a lot, but I like to. So, I watch and get hungry. It's a beautiful relationship.

Being Sick is No Bueno

I'm pretty sure my body hates me. For the past week and a half anytime I ate anything my stomach tried to kick me in the face. My mom told me I should just drink clear liquids for a couple days, but food is just so delicious. I've been wearing this acupressure wristband and it's been helping a bit. Any ideas for what I can do besides only drinking clear liquids? I mean on the plus side I'll probably lose weight from not eating food and my stomach won't hurt. On the bad side I won't be able to eat food. What to do what to do...

mid summer nights...dream

I'm in a weird mellow mood. It's more like a summer night time feeling. I love spring/summer nights. I feel like listening to Rocky Votolato, Death Cab, certain songs of Jenny Lewis/Rilo Kiley, and Joshua James. The smells, the temp., star gazing on the grass, just the feel of it. If I had to live in one certain thing it would be summer nights...that or rain. There's something magical to them. Summers in Logan are great. The only thing missing are fireflies. Summer nights equal love. I want to go Camping, swimming, on walks with Tron, evening bike rides around the temple, and have BBQ's. Welp, I'm off to enjoy the night.

Belated Mother's Day Gift

I'm aware that I'm late, but I just finished my mom's mother's day gift yesterday. I stayed up all night the night before last. I just kept putting in movies so I didn't notice what time it was. I was up till 6:30 in the morning sewing. Then I decided after my bobbin thread ran out that I should go to bed. I woke up at 12 pm and finished it. Not fun and I do this way too often. I think they turned out really good. I made her 5 grocery bags and a matching coupon holder. I thought hey she goes shopping a lot these will come in handy. Plus, it'll save on the plastic bag build up.

These are pretty easy to make. It took me a long time because I did them in the middle of the night so my brain was tired and kinda slow. That and I did them in a way that took a little longer, but will help them to last longer. Welp, smell ya later

It's been brought to my attention lately of how much of a girly girl I am not. I don't like embroidered anything especially clothing. I don't like beading or sparkles. I'm just not super fancy I guess you could say

I do however LOVE shoes

I love the chipmunk on enchanted...mostly when he says "it's good" I can't stop laughing...Tron tries not to laugh when I say it because he's trying to rebel.

Rain Rain Please Just Stay

It's been raining for two days now and I'm LOVING it. I realize that rain makes some people sad and depressed, but I've always loved it. Maybe it comes from living in Virginia while I was a child. When it rained really hard there the streets would flood. I'd put on my rain boots and dance in the water filled streets. While my friends and I were playing and watching people being pulled by cars on their boogie boards my mom would make hot chocolate for us all. After we drank our hot chocolate we'd walk outside and watch the rainbows. Or when the storm was coming in my best friend Kristi and I would ride our bikes around watching the lightening. We thought we'd be ok because the bikes had rubber tires so it would ground us. I don't remember ever being scared of lightening or storms...maybe I was but I only remember loving them. Oh the good memories.

The rain here isn't usually as hard and doesn't last nearly as long as it did there. It still makes me crazy happy though. I still run outside and dance around when it rains really hard. I still get WAY too excited when it starts to thunder and lightening. It's a good thing Tron loves the rain as much as I do. I'm sure anyone else would think I was a freak for the excitement I feel for storms. I honestly think I would die of excitement if I lived in a place like Seattle. Although my hair would probably be crazy and huge so who knows. Ya win some ya lose some, right?

Just a little venting is all

Inconsiderate people bother me... A lot. I work at a fabric store if you didn't already know. There are some ladies I could just punch in the ovaries. For instance, I was ringing this lady up. She and her daughter brought up two things they were choosing between. They decided on one, the daughter then said she'd take the other back. Her mother then grabbed it from her and said don't do that she'll put it away as she handed it to me. I wanted so badly to grab it from her and poke her in the eye with it. Stupid lazy butt munch of a woman you do it! I'm not your slave. Anyhow, that's my rant. So, if any of you do stuff like that just know someone might just get really pissed at you and slam your face into the counter. Just warning you is all. LOVES
